About the Awards

The Media Innovation Awards celebrate the innovative use of screen based media across the South West of England.  The 2010 competition will call for entries on 16th November 2009 and any member of a South West based media, design or music cluster can enter.  To find out about the award categories click here.

 

There will be 18 categories in a wide range of disciplines from Community Web Use to Print Graphics, and from Television to Audio/Music for Screen.

 

The nominations will be announced in February and the awards presented at a glittering gala awards dinner to be held in the South West on Thursday 18th March 2010.

 

The 2009 awards attracted nearly 150 entries from as far afield as Penzance and Poole.  As well as the practitioners any business that has commissioned work from members of one of the clusters can enter their projects into the awards.



The judges area respected members of the UK media and design industry and the Media Innovation Awards is a joint initiative by the media, design and music clusters across the South West.
