This award was introduced for the first time in 2013 and will be awarded to a project that demonstrates excellence of a creative craft skill in any medium (this includes design, graphics, camerawork, editing, sound, direction, lighting, art direction etc).

Previous winners of this award were Emma Kempton for The Crinoline & The Rose in 2007; Phoenix Media for Revenge of the Jazz Hoodie in 2008; Carrion Film for Scayrecrow in 2009; and Sundog Media for Seafront in 2010. ]]> Sun, 29 Jun 2014 00:00:00 GMT d8d9e331-ad5f-4436-a711-66cf52db6df0 <![CDATA[The Television Category]]> The Television category is for moving image projects produced for broadcast television, The project may be a feature, programme, short, promotion, commercial, or ident.  Graphics sequences, titles and CGI should be entered into the new Category 11 Video Graphics.  IPTV channels should be entered into Category 12 Web and Animation projects should be entered into Category 1 Animation.  Videos made for optical disc (DVD, CD or Blu-ray) and films produced for cinematic and theatrical release should be entered into the new Category 10 Video/Film. 

 
Over the past six years there have been some exceptional broadcast projects entered into the awards including Andy's Wild Adventures; Educating Essex; The Future Game; History of Now; Make My Body Younger; and On Thin Ice.
