The overall winner and recipient of the prestigious MIA Trophy
was HMC Interactive - a Plymouth-based multi-media
production company specialising in the creation of interactive digital products
for a wide range of industries. The company was presented with the
trophy in recognition of its outstanding creative and innovative contribution to
the industry despite being only five years old. The judges drew
particular attention to the Purple Planet exhibition for Cadbury World.

The evening was introduced by Mark Hawkins, chair of Plymouth
Media-Partnership, and the host for the evening was ITV Westcountry presenter
Richard Bath.
Winners of each of the 11 categories were also
announced at the ceremony, with representatives of the category sponsors
presenting each award.
