Outstanding Contribution A winner will be announced on the night

The winners of each category will receive a coveted Media Innovation Award and a certificate detailing the winning entry. All entries nominated to the shortlist will receive a nomination certificate shortly after the event.

Stephen Gray, Chair of Judges for Media Innovation Awards said: “The Media Innovation Awards let us recognise the achievements of the incredibly talented companies and individuals behind these exciting, innovative and cutting edge projects. On the panel of judges are some of the most highly respected industry leaders, and we were blown away by the creativity and diversity of the entries for this year’s awards. With this amount of high-class talent in the sector, it’s really not hard to see why the UK is one of the most innovative countries in the world.”

Set up by the Media Innovation Network in 2006, the Media Innovation Awards is now firmly established as a leading award ceremony for the creative industries. Based at the Formation Zone in Plymouth University, the Media Innovation Network offers companies and individuals working in the creative industries the opportunity to develop skills, access online resources, share knowledge and collaborate,with a programme of events run throughout the year This year’s awards party is taking place on Thursday 26th November from 6-9pm in Plymouth University’s state of the art performing arts centre, The House, (Drake Circus, Plymouth, PL4 8AA). Everyone is invited to join in with the celebrations.

Tickets cost just £25 and include a welcome drink, entertainment and a chance to mingle with experts and leaders in digital and traditional media. The awards will be hosted by BBC South West's Sam Smith.
