We ensure that we select judges who are respected in their field.  The 2015 competition judges announced so far are:
 
 

STEPHEN GRAY (Chair of Judges) 

Stephen studied business at the University of Plymouth, and then found his passion for digital content through studying Media Lab Arts at the Institute of Digital Arts and Technology. After University, he practised as a new media consultant before setting up his own digital agency ‘Stickee Ltd.’ in 2001. Since its beginnings Stickee has worked with some of the most cutting edge brands, where in most cases Stephen acted in a creative consultant role. These clients include: BBC, Channel 4, MTV Networks, BSkyB and EMI.  Stephen is a guest lecturer for several digital media University courses as well as an occasional speaker at industry events

HILARY AUDUS
Hilary is a Director and Scriptwriter for Animated Shorts and Series.  Her past credits include , “The Snowman” and its award winning sequel, “The Bear”, which was another Raymond Briggs’s book adaptation.  Recently she has completed the Direction on the third children’s series of, “Horrid Henry” for ITV.  Hilary is currently Directing, “Snowman 2” for C4 to be broadcast Christmas 2012.

CHRISTOPH GEPPERT

Christoph is the founder and co-owner of Grain. He’s been exploring his gift and passion for branding and design since the mid-1990s. His experience includes time at leading consultancies Pentagram, Landor, Siegel & Gale and Tom Dixon. His client list is equally impressive, featuring household names like Nokia, Tesco, Qualcomm, United Airlines, Qantas and Pantone. At Grain, Christoph specialises in helping entrepreneurs grow their businesses. Originally from Hannover, Germany, Christoph holds a degree in Management, Economics and Politics from the University of St Andrews in Scotland, and an MA in Industrial Design from Central Saint Martins.

TOM THORNE
Tom Thorne is the Managing Director and owner of leading mobile agency CandyspaceTom has spent the last 10 years working in interactive media, production and design with the last 5 years dedicated specifically to mobile marketing, technology and content creation for the small screen.
 

ROLAND WILLIAMS
Roland is one of Garden’s Creative Directors. Roland has worked with highly reputable and prestigious design consultancies such as Nucleus, Rufus Leonard, JHP, Rareform Branding and Garden today.
He has recently been involved in the rebrand for Sainsbury’s Tu, Stassen Tea (one of the world’s leading Ceylon Tea producers), the Eurotunnel rebrand and creating thre new Etisalat brand, the largest telco in the Middle East.

Some other projects Roland has played a mayor role in include MEED, ENOC sub-brands, Church of England Publishing, MOOD Media, FreeMove and Afriquia.

  KARL BINDER

Karl graduated with first class honours in Graphic Communication and worked as the head web designer at the University of Birmingham before starting his own web design and development Agency - The Adhere Creative - in Birmingham in 2003. Since then Karl and his team have worked on website projects and software applications for clients such as Carphone Warehouse, Money Supermarket, Confused.com, Ted Baker and Yorkshire Bank. Karl also regularly consults as a software project manager for a selection of London based creative agencies and was a founding Director of the creative industries networking organisation - Creative Republic - in the West Midlands.

  DANIEL CAMPBELL
Daniel is Art Director at WGSN.  Following a traditional graphic design course at the London College of Printing, Daniel fell down the digital rabbit hole.  Since then he has spent most of his career trying to bridge the gap between the entertainment qualities of traditional TV productions, the interactive engagement of video games and the comunication and transactional capabilities of the web.
 

ANDY DALEY

Andy is Creative Director at SapientNitro, a new breed of agency at the intersection of technology and story. For the last twenty years, Andy has delivered campaigns spanning the complete media spectrum, for markets across EMEA, AsiaPac and the US. His client history includes some of the world’s largest brands including BMW, General Motors Europe, Peugeot, Microsoft , Coca-Cola, Lufthansa, Bacardi, and Sky.

 
ADAM POWERS
Emerging from a traditional graphic design education at Chelsea School of Art in 1992, Adam Powers started out his career designing and art directing magazines, books and a vast array of print for publishing and music industry clients but moved online in late 90s. Adam spent over a decade at the BBC designing for and co-leading it's User Experience and Design group.   Adam joined Bartle, Bogle and Hegarty (BBH) in 2011 as it's first Head of User Experience (UX). Adam works with clients such as Google, Red Bull and  Johnnie Walker to create world-class user experiences that will enhance everything from strategy and innovation through to creative and retail, ensuring that BBH is defining experiences not only online but across every brand touchpoint.

LINSAY DUNCAN

Linsay Duncan is co-founder of marketing support consultancy Marke2ing, with over 15 years of international B2B marketing communications experience behind her. As Global Marketing & Communications Director for Mintel International, Linsay led the marketing strategy across the UK, Europe and US and was responsible for driving their APAC entry strategy forward. During her time at Experian QAS she led the campaigns team with a focus on developing revenue-generating marketing programmes with software giants and systems integrators such as Microsoft, Oracle, Fujitsu and Northgate. Over the years Linsay has supported other well-established global businesses such as SunGard, and built a marketing function from the bottom-up at growing start-up Limehouse Software (now Objective Corporation). Linsay’s main focus now – through her business Marke2ing- is helping London SMEs professionalise their marketing and demonstrate ROI through creative, innovative marketing.
