For animated film and video projects. These may be features, programmes, shorts, promotions, commercials, title sequences or idents. In the case of animated graphics within programmes consideration should be given as to whether an entry should be put into category (11).

For projects produced for use on mobile platforms (including material for mobile phones, MP4, and POD Casting). Games produced for mobile should be entered into Category 5 Games.

|
BRANDING
For the creation of a new Brand identity (this may include product branding) across any media.

|
|
GAMES
For projects produced for Gaming devices (this includes material produced for handhelds, mobiles, websites, proprietary gaming devices and PCs).

|
|
INSTALLATION / EXHIBITION / LIVE EVENT
For projects produced for live audiences such as interactive museum installations, conferences, festivals, live events and trade shows that make use ofa range of technologies and platforms. |

|
MARKETING
For Marketing/Advertising campaigns produced on any platform for a client aimed at business or consumer audiences
|
|
|
PHOTOGRAPHY
For photographic projects including exhibitions, single images and publications. |
|
|
PRINT
For projects produced in print including newspapers, magazines, leaflets, and books. When entering packaging design consideration should be given as to whether the project should be entered in Category 4 Branding.

|
TELEVISION / VIDEO / FILM
For televisin programmes, independent films and videos produced for broadcast, corporate use, cinematic or theatrical release (including films produced for film festivals). Entries may have been produced on Digital tape, DVD, Blu-ray, or video file for web or mobile use. |

VIDEO GRAPHICS
For moving image/video graphic sequences produced for television, film, DVD, Blu-ray, or online use. This category includes title and graphic sequences produced for broadcast television progammes.

WEB
For website projects including IPTV projects/channels |
|
CREATIVE CRAFT
For a project that shows excellence of a creative craft skill in any medium (this includes design, graphics, camerawork, editing, sound, direction, lighting, art direction etc)

|
STUDENT OF THE YEAR
For a student who has demonstrated exceptional skill, creativity or innovation within media or design. Students must be nominated by a member of the academic staff.

|
NEW TALENT/NEW BUSINESS
For achievement and innovation by an individual or a new business with less than 5 years in the industry over a range of projects. Entry can be by nomination or self-nomination.

|
OUTSTANDING CONTRIBUTION
For an individual, company, product or project demonstrating a significant contribution to innovation within the media, design or music industry. There will be no nominees in this category. A winner will be announced at the awards event. |
